Shannon Noll is a strong supporter of a number of key charities and community initiatives within Australia. Please find further information below.

Shannon supports Rainy Day, primarily through their Rainy Day Drought Relief Initiative 2007, which is in place to address the plight of drought-affected farming families in rural communities.

Shannon has put together some key messages as part of his support for Rainy Day:

“It is really important that you buy local produce to support our farmers, and always save water where you can.

Check out the website www.rainyday.org.au or go to any Commonwealth Bank branch where you can donate directly to help drought-affected people and communities.

It makes a big difference to people living in the bush to think that people living in Sydney are trying to understand what they are going through, and that is trying to survive the worst drought on record”.

About Rainy Day

Rainy Day was formed by a group of young, passionate professionals and created to effect positive, on-going change in the community. The concept was launched in response to the current drought situation to highlight the needs of our rural families and deliver relief.

The Rainy Day mission broadly encompasses elements of welfare, community and sustainability so that we can independently align with compelling causes to deliver additional funding and support.

Rainy Day mission: Helping those less fortunate who are in desperate need.
Contributing to programmes that support the on-going welfare of those in need.
Sustainable practices and conservation of our environment, resources and heritage.
Initiatives that promote the spirit of community and compassion of its citizens.
